web content management system
customisable
Design and Layout
conductIT features a powerful template editing system which enables an internal or external web designer to define the overall style and layout of individual pages and categories within the conductIT powered web site.
The template system gives the designer complete control over the look and feel of the web site and at the same time ensures that business users can access the system to add content with designers confident in the knowledge that the design of each page is 'locked down'.
Web Objects and Personalisation
Developers can create blocks of code known as objects and make these available within templates to control everything from feedback forms to customised menus, download libraries and custom login and registration functions.
A demonstration website and a bundle of pre-built objects are included with the standard conductIT license.
conductIT also includes a drag and drop interface that can be used by systems administrators and users to drag objects into position on predefined templates. Developers can add new objects to the library so that they can be selected and viewed by users.
Technology
conductIT's template and object architecture is a powerful tool that empowers web developers to custom build features and functions whilst taking advantage of the security model inherent within conductIT.
The conductIT web content management system is developed using Microsoft .NET 2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database. It is compatible with classic ASP and .NET front end scripting languages. This means that any developer with knowledge of these common web programming languages can customise the web content management system to meet exact website requirements.

We knew we wanted content management, but hadn’t really appreciated just how flexible and tailored to our needs the system would be
